Mary Beth Shepard

Born on February 16, 1957, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Mary Beth was the beloved daughter of William and Doris Van Stone. She was a devoted wife, marrying her loving husband, Howard Shepard, in 1994, and together they shared 31 years of companionship and care.

Mary Beth was a woman of quiet creativity and deep faith. She found joy in quilting, embroidery, and cross-stitch, creating pieces that reflected her patience and artistry. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a dedicated member of the Mansfield Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she found community and spiritual strength.

She graduated from Harding High School in 1975 and went on to work for many years as a housekeeper at Bridgeport Hospital, where she was known for her diligence and kindness.

Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Howard Shepard; her sister, Pat (John); and her nephew, Stephen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara; and her niece, Lisa Marie.

Services are currently being planned and will be announced at a later date.
