Terry B Irwin

Born on November 17, 1944, to Burl and Jean (Welch) Irwin, Terry was raised in Polk and graduated from Polk High School, proudly part of its final graduating class. He held the lifelong friendships he made in Polk close to his heart. Terry was a longtime member of Polk United Methodist Church and the Sullivan Masonic Lodge.

Terry retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation after a dedicated career. Known for his lighthearted sense of humor and easygoing nature, he brought laughter and warmth to those around him. He enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, catching up with friends, spending time with his family, and was an avid fan of women's softball.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Dotty M. (Steward) Irwin; his daughter, Teri J. Owens; and his parents, Burl and Jean Irwin.

He is survived by his son, Bill Irwin; his cherished granddaughter, Emily Owens; his brother, Alan Irwin, and sister-in-law, Sherry; and his loving partner, Mary Lee Hammond.
