Tommy Allen, Jr., 61, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at University Hospital. Born on April 28, 1963, to Pauline (Patrick) and Tommy Allen, Sr., Tommy was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and companion. He was known for his love of family, and his many passions, particularly fishing and dirt track racing.
Tommy had a special bond with his dog, Gracie Mae, who brought him great joy. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones, always ready with a story or a laugh, and was happiest when surrounded by those who mattered most.
He is survived by his loving significant other of 26 years, Sheryl Cross; children Amber (Alan) Bahr, Jenny (Richard) Bailey, Valerie Kiser, and Travis (Christina) Cross; grandchildren Christopher, Danelle, Kaden, Rayna, Braxtyn, and Danika; and siblings Nancy Allen and Don (Kelly) Allen.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Tommy will be laid to rest at Imhoff Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ashland is honored to serve the Allen family.
