A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Victor exemplified strength, discipline, and loyalty throughout his life. On March 29, 1958, he married the love of his life, Joyce, with whom he shared 67 devoted years.
Victor was a hardworking truck driver who found joy in the open road and the freedom of travel. When not behind the wheel, he loved working in his garden, spending time with his family, and, most of all, spoiling his grandchildren. His warm smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Hines; his children, Victoria (John) Thomas, Joseph (Andrea) Hines, and Andy (Kim) Hines; grandchildren, Courtney, Joshua, and Autumn; and his great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Gray, and his spoiled, loyal dog, E.T.
Victor was preceded in death by his son, Dale Hines, and his siblings, Maxine Keller, Charles Hines, and Nettie Hines.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Nathan Meiers. Victor will be laid to rest at Burbank Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ashland is honored to serve the Hines family.
