Alice R. Hardie

HARDIE, Mrs. Alice Rickman, formerly of Ashland, VA, died peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of May 18, 2015. Mrs. Hardie was 97. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Raymond F. Hardie of Ashland and five siblings. She is survived by her son Thomas R. Hardie and his wife Mary Lou Hardie of Lexington, Kentucky, three granddaughters and six great grandchildren. Mrs. Hardie was an active member of Duncan Memorial UMC in Ashland for forty three years. Visitation and Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday May 30th at Nelsen Funeral Home in Ashland. Visitation will begin at 10am and Memorial Service at 11am followed by interment at Westhampton Memorial Park in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Duncan Memorial UMC Ashland, VA.
