Moore, Andrew, 91, of Ashland, VA, formerly of Denville and Waretown, NJ, died on Sunday, July 6. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma, and brothers, Edward and Charlie. He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Lisa) and Eric (Johanna); daughters, Diana Passamenti (Michael), and Judy Chodyniecki (Phil); stepdaughter, Alma Jane Newchok (Andrew); 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren; 2 great step grandchildren; and sister, Agnes Martin. Andy was a WWII veteran, having served in the 322nd Infantry Regiment in the Pacific. He was retired from the Township of Denville, NJ. He was also known as Dandy the Dancing Clown and for many years entertained at children’s hospitals, nursing homes, and charitable organizations. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Old Guard. Interment will be in NJ at a later date.
