Ashtain Noel Davis

Ashtain Noel Davis, of Petersburg, Virginia, a devoted husband and father, fearless firefighter, proud Army veteran, and loyal friend, passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 28. While he officially answered his final call, anyone who knew Ashtain knows he left this world doing one of the things he loved most.

Born on March 14, 1998, in Panama City, Florida, Ashtain lived a life defined by courage, loyalty, strength, and dedication to others. Above all else, his greatest joy was being a dad. To his daughters, Alaura and Ashlynn, he was their protector, their biggest supporter, and someone they could always count on. He showed his love through humor, guidance, and tough love, always wanting the very best for them.

One of Ashtain’s proudest accomplishments, outside of being a husband and father, was becoming a firefighter. Through long nights, hard work, and determination, he excelled at the fire academy and graduated at the top of his class. After the academy, Ashtain began serving with the Henrico Fire Department, where he formed a brotherhood and bonds that will live on through the men and women who served beside him.

Ashtain is survived by his loving wife, Alexas Davis; his daughters, Alaura and Ashlynn Davis; his mother, Lynette Davis, and Robert Moses; his sister, Mia (Chad) Galary; his father- and mother-in-law, Dr. Patrick and Catherine Wilcox; his grandparents, Alfred and Ruth Ann Davis; his brothers-in-law, Cameron (Lexi) Parker, Christopher (Mackenzie) Farkas, James (Gabby) Mitchell, and Patrick (Von) Wilcox II; Kamilah Wilcox; best friend Jakobie Castillo, dog Arlo Davis; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.

Ashtain was preceded in death by his younger brother, Mahgell Davis, and his cousin, Kuryis Hernandez.
