ATKINS, Audrey Walker, born September 17, 1927, died October 10, 2017 at age 90. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William Walker Atkins, Jr. She is survived by her only child, Anne Clark Atkins (Michael F. Jeffrey). She was a homemaker and also worked for the County of Henrico. She was devoted to rescuing dogs and volunteered with both the Henrico Humane Society and the Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 126009 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA.
