of Turkey Hill, Doswell, VA, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Willard Edward and Trudy Hutcheson, and Phillip Maylon and Kim Hutcheson; grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, Trey, Christopher Hutcheson, and Ashleigh H. Davis. His great-grandson, Royce Davis, his sister, Susan H. Jurgens, nieces, Carol J. Esteki (Reza) and Ellen J. Ransone (John), great nephews, Jamil and Danesh Esteki, and great-great-nephew and niece, Yusuf and Taliyah Esteki, and his close companion, Morgen Biehler.
Ben founded Hutcheson Company in 1973 and enjoyed being on his boat, traveling the waters between Virginia Beach, Florida, and the Bahamas. He was a member of Taylorsville Baptist Church, 15415 Taylorsville Rd, Doswell, VA, where relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, May 3, from 10 AM until the time of his funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Ashland, VA.
