Betty Faye M. Altice, 56, of Doswell passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was a manager at various retail stores over the years and was a member of Ashland Church of God. She was very stylish and fashion conscience and had a passion for decorating and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Edith Moore. She is survived by her husband, Garold Dwayne Altice; three children, Shelley Marie Herring (and fiance, Danny Cox), Kelley Leigh Herring, and James Colby Carrington Moore (and fiancée, Siria Salcines); five grandchildren, Kaylah Rooks, Micah Dabney, Jocelyn Lewis, Jonny Gonzales and Alexander Gonzales. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. Family and friends may gather at Nelsen Funeral Home Thursday, August 11, at 9 a.m. for a final viewing and procession to the graveside service which will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, VA.
