Betty Ann Langford

Our beloved, Betty Ann Langford, age 83, of Ashland, Virginia passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Betty was born in Ashland, Virginia, on July 5, 1942, to Cleveland and Elizabeth Cameron.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Langford, and 2 brothers, Wayne Cameron and Tommy Cameron. She is survived by her son, Jeremy Langford (Gina), her granddaughter, Sydney Smith, her grandson, Jackson Langford, her brothers, Richard Cameron (Barbara) and Gary Cameron (Donna), a very special niece, Shannon Cameron (Matt Temple), her aunt Elsie Jennings, and many other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very best friend, her dog, Charlie.

She grew up in Ashland Christian Church, attending regularly with her mother and her Aunt Elsie. She got married to Robert and moved away for a while, but came back to be an active member of ACC. She loved her family. She dearly loved her grandkids and her dog Charlie. She loved to laugh. She loved music, dancing, baking cookies and cakes. She made the most beautiful and creative birthday cakes. She always saw the good in people even when it was hard to see. She had a strong faith in God and prayed for everyone. We will miss her so much.

Relatives and friends are invited to Betty's visitation at Nelsen Funeral Home- Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA on Friday, September 5 from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at

10 AM. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
