Charles "Charlie" Allen Cole, 65, of Doswell, passed away on August 3, 2017. He was the son of the late Elmo and Nina Cole and was preceded in death by his brother, Jake and sister, Ann. He was retired from Bear Island with over 35 years of service. Charlie was an avid hunter, traveling across the United States and into Argentina to hunt. He is survived by his wife, Terry Cole; daughters, Kelly Cole (Adrian Beard), Kerri Hearn (Travis), Kasey Hall (Jamie); son, Lucas Cole; granddaughter, Gracie Hall; beloved dog, Lucy, as well as other family members and dear friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 2-5 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005.
