GABLE, Clyde J., 76, of Mechanicsville, passed away on November 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara H. Gable and Virginia L. Gable; and his parents, Clyde E. Gable and Lillian P. Gable. He is survived by his children, Alvin (Vanessa) Gable, Clyde (Stefanie) Gable, Jr., Jennifer (Jack) McKinley, Shelvia Prince, Donna (Sam) Regensburg, Teresa Walsh, and Jimmy (Kim) Johns; 21 grandchildren; and sisters, Laura Mae Gable and Betty Gable. Clyde was a retired plumbing supervisor at Kings Dominion. He served in the Army during the Korean War where he was stationed in Okinawa. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA, where a service will take place at 2pm. Interment will be at Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, VA.
