Loving, Davis, 77, of Henrico, went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bessie Loving; three brothers, Charlie, Harry, and Wesley Loving. He is survived by his wife, Louise Loving; son, Linwood Loving; brother, Joseph (Pete) Loving (Charlotte); four sisters, Dorothy Seal (Kenneth), Katherine Courtney, and Margaret Tignor (John) and Pearl Tignor (Bobby); and numerous nieces and nephews. Davis was a retired employee from Philip Morris. Davis loved hunting, fishing, and baseball; his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. He was a member of Sparta Hunt Club. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Signal Hill Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Virginia for their care and kindness during his illness. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
