Deborah Hope Everhart

Deborah Hope Everhart, age 75, of Montpelier, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Deborah was born March 29, 1949 in York, PA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gregory Everhart, and parents Bruce and Frances Bigoney.

She is survived by her 3 devoted children Drew Everhart (Lianna), Ashley Pigors (Brent), and Chelsea Long (Matt). Nana to 6 grandchildren, Samantha Everhart, Grant and Avery Pigors, Adaleigh, Eliza, and Chloe Long. She is also survived by her siblings Bruce Bigoney, Darcy Lunt (Fred), and Carl Bigoney (Dolores). She will be missed by her double first cousins Becky Paul (Gerald), Burt Bigoney (Becky), Paul Bigoney (Allison Christie), and numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.

Deborah graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 1967. After graduation she went on to attend York Vo Tech where she received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She was a horse enthusiast for many years and loved raising chickens on Marywood farm in Montpelier. She loved relaxing by the pool during the summer and had a big heart for animals. She loved her grandchildren very much and would take every opportunity to spend time with them.

A funeral service for Deborah will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005.

She will be laid to rest at Culpeper National Cemetery.
