Deborah Ann Fuqua

She was survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Jock; children Amber Hawkins Stigall (Chris Stigall)

and Joshua Fuqua; grandchildren Jaxson, Dalton, and Riley Hawkins, Reece and Brettley Stigall, and Gracie and Julia Fuqua; brother David Davis; and niece and nephew Lindsey Davis Aurigemma and Erik Aurigemma; great nephew Colton Aurigemma, and Zachary Davis (Kaleigh). Debbie is survived by several aunts, uncles and devoted cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Doris Davis.

Debbie was known for her compassionate heart and lifelong dedication to animal welfare. Her greatest joy came from her roles as "Mema" to her seven beloved grandchildren, with whom she shared countless adventures and created treasured memories.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend who brought laughter and joy to every gathering. Her legacy was kindness, compassion and love for all creatures will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16th at 2:00pm at the Montpelier Center for Arts and Education.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
