Stanley, Elizabeth Irene, 94, the widow of William R. Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen M. Alley and a son-in-law, Harry Lloyd. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Lloyd of Rockville; son, William R. Stanley, Jr. of Glen Allen; daughter Betty Anthony (Bob) of King William; also eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Manor Care and Heartland Hospice for the loving care they gave Elizabeth. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Hanover, VA. In lieu of flowers, do an act of kindness to someone and that person will be blessed and so will you.
