She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Sasser.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Sasser (Debra), Rev. Harold Sasser (Brenda), and Mary Locklear (Rabion); seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle St., Ashland, VA 23005 where a Funeral Service will be begin at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ashland Church of God where Mrs. Sasser was a member for 62 years.
