Eugene Ray Mallory, Jr., 64, of Ashland, passed away on June 29, 2015. He was the son of the late Otelia and Ray Mallory, Sr. Mr. Mallory retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. and served as Human Resources Manager at Martin’s. Ray was a member at Independence Christian Church, a graduate of University of Richmond, and active in local Boy Scout Troop 700. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Mallory; children, Ben Mallory (Katie) and Rick Mallory (Amber) and grandchildren, Dean and Corbin. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 1:00p.m. at Independence Christian Church, 14023 Independence Rd, Ashland, VA 23005.
