Fred Franklin Small

Fred Franklin Small, 83, of Doswell, VA passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. He was a retired civil engineer and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He retired from the U. S. Army - Special Forces, as a Sergeant Major and was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post 90. He is survived by his wife, Nancy D. Small; daughters, Tamara Mounce (Larry) and Sherrie Bradley (John); grandchildren, Bruce Wickham, Crystal Geiges, Jesse Bradley and Michael Bradley; great-grandchildren, Avery, Abigail, Aidan, Brady, Samantha and Claire. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
