Gayle Parrish Roberts

She is the daughter of the late Bill and Louise Parrish of Louisa, Virginia.

Gayle dedicated many years as a bookkeeper with McKinnley and Company in Ashland. Known for her unwavering love and loyalty, Gayle was always there for her family and friends at any time, ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand at any hour. All who knew her will deeply miss her thoughtfulness and regular check-ins. Gayle found great joy in tending to her flowers and caring for the wildlife that frequented her backyard. Her presence was a source of peace and beauty to everyone she touched.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 years, Coleman Roberts; children, Warren Roberts, 57, of Ashland, and Mike Roberts (Jodi), 55, of Doswell; 6 grandchildren, Chris Roberts (Bree) of Hopewell, Kylee Roberts of Chester, Jack Roberts of Richmond, Jessica Hertless (Alex) of New Kent, Brandon Roberts of Doswell, and Dylan Roberts of Doswell; two great-grandchildren, Luca Roberts, and Waylon Hertless.

A celebration of Gayle's life will be held at a later date. Her burial will be private, honoring her quiet and loving spirit.
