Grace Hall Eddleton

Grace Hall Eddleton, a member of the Greatest Generation, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2013. Born December 25, 1925, to W. R. “Bill” and Louise Harris Hall, Grace is survived by her husband of 66 years, Eugene Nelson Eddleton, a daughter, Joan Carol Eddleton, a sister, Myrtle Liggon, and many wonderful nieces and nephews and cousins and a special family friend, Earl Allen. A 1943 graduate of Henry Clay High School, Grace worked at Abbott, Proctor & Paine during the 1960’s and operated several antique shops in the area over the years. She delighted in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Tiffany Matthew (John), Linden, Lucy, Laney; Stephanie Reed (Dale), Andrew, Harrison, Noah, Hudson; Donna Eckhardt (Rich), Donald III, Delaney, Darian. The love for her family kept her going. Visitation will be at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, Virginia, 23005, on Tuesday, July 30, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, at 11:00 a.m. at Winn’s Baptist Church, 12320 Winns Church Road, Glen Allen, Virginia, 23059, with interment in the Church cemetery and a gathering of family and friends in the Church Fellowship Hall afterwards.
