

He is survived by his parents, Michael E. and Brenda W. Cran of Bumpass, VA; brother, Hayden M. Cran (Haley) of Martinsville, VA; two half-sisters, Holly Gingrich of TX and Heather Cran of MS; Aunt, Donna W. Miles (Doug) of Bumpass; Aunt, Darcus Bowlin of MS; Great Aunt, Lois Herndon of Ashland; Great Aunt, Doris Tuttle (Ed) of Bumpass; and numerous cousins.
Hunter was blessed with many close friends, that were like brothers and sisters. He always had a smile on his face, and a joke to tell. He was the pun master. His favorite hobbies were spending his free time with his friends at bonfires, fishing, or floating the river in his canoe.
He had the heart of a giant but was as gentle as a "bunny". He touched so many lives in his 25 years.
2014 Graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Ashland VA. He was employed as a welder at Service Machine in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 6pm - 8pm on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the family cemetery, 17340 Belsches Rd., Bumpass, VA 23024.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hanover County Rescue Squads or Come As You Are Ministry.
