On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, God welcomed Jane Bookman Whitley, 83, to her heavenly home. Now reunited with her husband, Robert Wilson Whitley, she leaves here a family including brother Thomas Bookman (Doris), son Wayne Whitley (Debbie), son David Whitley (Patty), daughter Denise Leveque (Larry), 10 grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren. She will also be missed by many friends whose lives were touched by her love for the Lord, as well as her love for people. Her life desire was to serve
her Lord, and her testimony proved that she achieved that goal. A funeral will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, in Ashland, Virginia, on Wednesday, December 27, at 11:00 a.m. At Jane's request, in lieu of
