GREENWOOD, Joel Michael, 53, of Doswell, passed away suddenly on September 16, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen Greenwood; his son, Ryan and his wife, Shannon, his son Randy; his parents, John and Jane Greenwood. Joel owned and operated Blackwater Manufacturing in Ashland, VA. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A service will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Taylorsville Baptist Church, 15415 Taylorsville Rd., Doswell, VA 23047. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Greenwood Memorial Fund, 500 England St., Ashland, VA 23005.
