Allen, John Gordon, 81, of Montpelier, went to be with the Lord Tuesday February 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan and brother Ricky. John is survived by his wife, Carroll A. Allen; sons, Patrick Timothy Allen, Kevin John Allen; grandchildren, Rachel Lynne Allen, Kristen, DJ, and Michael. John loved Hockey and football. He was a USMC and U.S. Air Force Veteran, retiring from the USAF Reserves. The family will receive friends 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM Saturday, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel. A graveside service will be held 11:30 AM Monday in Quantico National Cemetery.
