Kenneth Lester Goodman

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Jim.

He is survived by his children; Kaden & Kaylyn Goodman, his parents; Adrienne & Jeff Harcum and Bobby Lee & Laura Fox, his siblings; Harriet (Grant) Lacombe, Kendal (Brandon) Allen, & Brian (Dana) Fox, his grandparents Enash & Alease Goodman and Bobby & Grace Fox, Aunts; Andrienne Jamerson & Aleasa Goodman, Uncles; Sonny Goodman & Robert Fox, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Kenneth loved his family. He loved watching Kaden play football, Kaylyn play softball, and would stop in to drink coffee with his Nanny Alease every morning. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Dallas Cowboys fan. Kenneth grew up playing baseball and was an original in the 712 Crew. After graduation, Kenneth worked in the concrete business for Century Concrete and Quality Concrete and thought a lot of his coworkers. He could light up a room with his smile and huge laugh and would stand up for the people he loved. His legacy will live on through his family.

A viewing for Kenneth will be held Saturday, June 11th from 4 to 7pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy. Ashland, Virginia 23005. A funeral will be held the following day Sunday, June 12th at Nelsen at 2pm, followed by a graveside burial at 4pm at The Goodman Cemetery; 15509 Robert Terrell Road. Montpelier, Virginia 23192. Immediately after the funeral there will be a reception to eat and celebrate the life of Kenneth at the Goodman Farm.
