In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Walter Lee Owens Sr. and her son, Steven Oliver Owens.
Lillian is survived by her children, Walter Lee Owens Jr. (Lori) and Jo Ann Owens; daughter-in-law, Terry Owens; grandchildren, Andrew Owens (Karen) and Chris Owens (Lindsay) and great-grandson, Cameron Owens.
She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Ashland where she sang in the choir. Her and Walter enjoyed driving around Hanover County to take in the view and watch the changes together. Lillian loved her church and family. Born and raised in Ashland, she had many friends and neighbors whom she loved. She will be greatly missed for her warm smile and hugs.
