

She was preceded in death by her loving husband,Chester W. Covington; her mother, Ada Johnson Wright; and her father, Rupert Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Covington Willis (David), her son, Brian Keith Covington; her grandchildren, Leslie Willis McCrea (Chris), Jennifer Willis Bowles (Brandon); her great-grandchildren, Kara, Quinn, Declan, Easton and Afton; and her brother, Thomas Wright and many other loving relatives.
Lois was an active member of Kenwood United Methodist Church for many years and a dedicated cafeteria worker for student lunches in Hanover County Public Schools. She was a member of Young Homemakers Association. Her hobbies were bowling, painting, gardening, cross stitch, neighborhood badminton games, and playing rook with friends. Lois loved animals and always had a cat with her at home. Her devoted cat, Chloe will miss her love and attention.
Relatives and friends are invited to Lois's visitation at First Baptist Church Chapel, 800 Thompson St, Ashland, VA on Monday, September 15 from at 1:00pm, until the time of the memorial service starting at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
