Burnett, Louise Loving, 97, of Ashland, passed away on February 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, O.N. Burnett and daughter, Winnie B. Vanderslice. Louise was a devoted member, Deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Gwathmey Baptist Church for over 60 years. Her devotion to the Lord and her family impacted everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her sons, Norman T. Burnett (Carolyn), Boyd C. Burnett (Lola), and Orie A. Burnett (Phyllis); daughter, Glenda B. Boschen (Lee Roy); sisters, Virginia L. Gammon and Catherine L. Sheiner; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 13 great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Gwathmey Baptist Church, 11232 Gwathmey Church Rd., Ashland, VA 23005, where a service will take place at 2pm on Friday, February 19, 2016. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery, Ashland, VA. Memorial gifts may be made to Gwathmey Baptist Church.
