Mabel P. Lewis

Mabel P. Lewis, 96, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl R. Meador and Marvin Lewis; parents, Woody Woodson Parks, Sr. and Ethel Eugie Parks; sisters, Lucy Bishop, Juanita Eckhart, Laurene Parks, and Emma Bartlett; brothers, John Parks, Woody Parks, and Bennie Parks. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Mamie Cooke and Edna Revere of Lancaster, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews; and devoted friends, Herb and Linda Delbridge. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 11 a.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005. A private burial will be held in Signal Hill Memorial Park at a later date.
