Margaret Elizabeth Bruce, 87, of Henrico went to be with the Lord Dec. 7 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Julian Wesley Bruce and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Wesley Bruce (Ray) and wife, Chris and Ronald Ellis Bruce; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters; five brothers; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at Carmel Baptist Church, Ruther Glen. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family would like to extend their thanks for the care and support given to our mother and family by the staff of Hospice of Virginia.
