I miss all of our good times together from letting you sleep with me when you were little and afraid to sharing our pregnancies together and being there to catch Emily and at your confirmation where we got yelled at because we could not and would not stop laughing. No two people could have possibly laughed over the years as much as we did.  We shared everything and now my partner in life is not going to be there to rock with me on the front porch of the old folks home. It was a good plan but I guess God needed your help wrangling Mom and Dad. But at least they are in God’s hands now and thanks for helping me make it happen down here. Now enjoy yourself and save me a seat next to you when it’s my turn. I miss you more than you could ever

My heart is truly broken to hear of Mimi passing. I was truly blessed the day she walked through the Homegoods door. The connection was priceless. Her eyes told me so much.The day we met I will treasure forever. I always told her that everytime she comes in that a hug would be waiting for her. She will always be in my heart. Her love for her family was outstanding and beautiful. I will hold our special moments of hugs, tears and laughter.  I will forever miss seeing you come through that door and me saying loudly  MiMi!!!!! And to your precious family!!! I will be there with open arms for hugs anytime you walk through the door of Homegoods. I pray for comfort and strength for you all through this. Sending you all love, prayers and hugs. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mimi's family.  I pray that you be given the strength to get through the loss of your dear sweet mother, wife and friend.  She was a wonderful, wonderful person.  She and I shared many laughs together and always managed to stay in touch when she left her job at Select Physical Therapy.  She will be greatly missed.  I am still trying to wrap my head around her sudden loss as are many of us.  

My sympathies to Mimi’s family for their loss. I am heartbroken to hear the news of her passing. Mimi was the absolute sweetest and kindest person that I have ever met. From the first time I met her we were the best of friends/partners in crimes and we were always getting each other into trouble she would say. She would always have a smile on her face and always made you smile. Every time we would talk we would spend half the time just giggling at how crazy the other one was and what we were getting into. We could go on and on just talking about everything and anything. She was a true friend and someone you could always count on. You will truly be missed my friend 💜. 

This news was just so shocking. Mimi was a incredible 
person. She lived for and loved her family more than words.  I am so deeply sorry for the loss you all have experienced.  Mimi left a mark in every heart of every person that was blessed enough to have known her. RIP Mimi, you were loved by many

Wanted to share, that Marianne was such a sweet soul. Her smile always lit up the hallways at school and she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will truly be missed praying for the family durning this difficult time. 

Mimi was an amazingly positive and loving person. We taught together and when I started at our school, she was one of the first to welcome me. We lost touch and recently reconnected on FB and I was so grateful. She and I spoke about how proud she was of her children, how much she adored her grandchildren and how happy she was with Steve. I’m so very sorry. May memories and love fill your hearts during this time and forever.

I am heartbroken about my dear friend Mimi’s passing. My deepest sympathies for Steve, Carrie, Emily, Mandy, the grandkids, Mimi’s parents, Marcie, Laura, Scott, and their extended family during this very sad time. 

Mimi and I met in elementary school and had so much fun together throughout the years. We used to do gymnastics in her front yard and practice cheerleading in the driveway. We goofed off in and out of school and stayed out all night with Cindy, Kathi,  and the girls-our freshman year at WS.  Mimi’s mom found out and grounded her forever. My mom never knew! 

Catching up with Mimi was always special since we had so much in common. Like me, true love found Mimi later in life, and she adored Steve along with her three beautiful daughters and grandkids. 

The last thing Mimi said to me a week ago was, “Love ya kid-o!” I will miss her laugh and seeing her smiling face, but mostly I will remember her kindness and love for me, her family, and her friends. 

I was honored to know Mimi and blessed to be her friend. “Love ya kid-o!” 🙏🌼🌼🙏

I am heartbroken to hear this news. Mimi, Cindy and I were a force to be reckoned with back in our early teens. Man did we have some laughs and escapades. Both of these awesome people gone too early. May you find solace knowing Mimi is with our Lord and Savior. Mimi and Cindy are reunited and having those laughs and escapades once again. 

My sincere condolences to Steve, Mimi's daughters and grandchildren, and the rest of the McDowell and McKinney families. I have known and loved Mimi for many years, since elementary school. Mimi always had a larger-than-life personality! She was a wonderful, sweet and incredibly loyal friend. The news of her passing feels unbelievable.  Now this world will never be as bright for all that knew and loved Mimi McDowell McKinney, her beautiful smile and heart. It was way too soon.
