Her loving children survived Marie, Chantal Evelyn D'Evegnee and Charles Denis (Karen) D'Evegnee; cherished grandmother of John, Kristin (Travis), Kaitlyn and Alexandra. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Paul D'Evegnee; siblings Dominique Barnich, Phillip Barnich, and parents Jeanne Vanhove Barnich and Adolphe Barnich.
Marie studied at VCU before working as a Systems Software Engineer for the Virginia Department of Information Technology. She was a member of the Mechanicsville Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making pottery. She was in a book club and grew fond of family history through her genealogy work where she helped people find their ancestors.
