Marion Munford West

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Goldie Munford, her siblings, Dorothy, George and Edward.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Mike), Margaret (Hal), Janice (Joe) and her son Clyde; her siblings Peggy (Dennis), Margaret (Jerry), Barbara and Florence. She had six grandchildren, Nicky, Travis, Bryon, Eric, Samee and Nick; also eleven great grandchildren Raegen, Waverly, Piper, Cody, Camryn, Chase, Karlee, Dakota, Jayda, Bryon and Brody; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She lived a simple life, devoted to her family and her God. She was a long time member of Winn's Baptist Church, an Awanna leader for many years, Sunday School teacher, and worked tirelessly in her church and community, always ready to lend a helping hand. Marion worked for the city of Richmond for 30+ years. To know Mrs. Marion was to love her. She departed surrounded by her children and no words could ever express the magnitude of our loss.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle St, Ashland, VA 23005 where a memorial service will begin at 12:00pm.
