Christine was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Lucille and Ted M. Cecil; her first husband, Joe Pugh; her son, George Wayne Pugh; her sisters, Viola Claytor and Joyce Stalnaker. Her husband, James A. Lewis, survives her.
She is also survived by three sons; William “Ricky” Pugh (Lila); Mike Pugh (Jacqueline) and Steven Pugh (Terry); two brothers, Ted “Mack” Cecil and Albert DiRemiggio; 4 grandchildren: Marissa Grooms (Donald); Joseph Pugh (Michelle); Jacob Pugh and Micah Pugh; 2 great grandchildren: Donald Grooms III and Hannah Grooms.
Christine’s family will receive friends at the Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 Washington Highway, Ashland VA 23005 Wednesday, July 3 from 5 – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 5 at County Line Baptist Church 3461 Ladysmith Road, Ruther Glen, VA 22546, Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
