Marvin Leroy Moore

Marvin Leroy Moore, age 80, of King William, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Alfred Moore and Lora Barlow Moore; and his brother, David Wayne Moore. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Patricia Russell Moore; daughters, Laurie Ann Kern (Warrick) and Faye Elizabeth Encke (Chad); brothers, William "Billy" Moore (Jane) and Jimmy Moore (Susan); and several loving nieces and nephews. A visitation for Marvin will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, 11310 Hanover Ave, Ashland, VA 23005.
