He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Sophie McMonigle and brother Joseph McMonigle. Matt is survived by his loving wife Judy McMonigle, devoted children Michael (Lora) McMonigle and Andy (Susan) McMonigle, cherished grandchildren Nathan and Steven McMonigle, and dear brother Karl (Lynn) McMonigle.
Matthew was a graduate of Bucknell University, worked and retired as a Mechanical Engineer for the Department of Energy, and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ashland. He enjoyed golfing, walking his dog, and spending time with his grandchildren.
A private service will be held for the immediate family.
