CARTER, Minnie Pauline, of Henrico, Va, passed away on may 30, 2021. She was born in Hanover County on May 27, 1933 to Lloyd Hudson Stanley and Mary Eleanor Mills. She was married to Thomas B Carter on April 30, 1955 and spent her years as a homemaker. Pauline was a member of Cornerstone Ministries and had a passion for flowers, family, religion, and visiting local nursing homes.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Pete" Carter; children, Mark A Carter (Michelle), Roy Glenn Carter, and Thomas Carter (Alison); grandchildren, Charlene Booth, Wanda Elamrani, Lance Carter, Kattie Carter, Tiffany Lowe, Sherri Meyers, Ryan Carter, Thomas Carter; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Clarke.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va 23005. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Kings Chapel Presbyterian Church, 13352 W Patrick Henry Rd., Doswell, Va. 23047.
