Nancy Harris Lawson

Nancy Harris Lawson, 79, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 16, 2018, peacefully passing in her home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred G. Lawson, Sr. She is survived by her sons Fred Lawson Jr., Gary Lawson, Gary's wife Patricia, daughter Cheryl Lawson, and grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Richard, and Erin. Affectionately known as "Nanny" to many, Nancy loved her family, and especially the time she spent raising her grandchildren. Nancy Lawson's family invites you to join them for a visitation on Thursday October 18, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m., held at Hopeful Baptist Church, 14340 Hopeful Church Road, Montpelier VA 23192. A funeral service will be held at Hopeful Baptist Church on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
