Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Walter Page Edwards Jr.; sister, Laura Augusta Custalow; and brother, Walter Thomas Edwards Sr.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Joseph George Scileppi; daughters, Ann Paige Joyner Downing and Virginia Leigh Chenault (Roy); grandchildren, Karrie Leigh Elswick (Nathan), Katherine Leanne Downing, and Emily Kate Chenault; and mother, Virginia Rose Edwards Christiansen (Chris).
The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda Davis, Rebecca Miller, and Debbie Blackwell who helped with Nancy's care at home.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle St, Ashland, VA 23005. Interment will follow at Amelia Veterans' Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002.
