Nettie Harris Graves, finished her earthly race and received her heavenly reward, December 10th 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 52 years, Charles Alvin Graves, Sr. and their son Thomas Alvin Graves. Nettie leaves behind her children Debra Graves Blackwell (Jim), Michael Stacy Graves, Tammy Graves Gammon (David) and Charles Alvin Graves, Jr. (Debbie). 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Nettie was greatly loved by Pastor Bobby Bailey and the entire congregation at the Good Shepherd Pentecostal Holiness Church in Henrico, VA for twenty years. She was an Ordained Minister and taught the adult Sunday School class at One Way Holiness Tabernacle in Ashland, VA where Michael Graves pastored. There she taught for over thirty years. She witnessed boldly for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and only God knows how many souls she won to the Lord. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Our loss but her gain.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 3 PM Sunday, December 13, at the Nelsen Funeral Home- Reid Chapel, 412 South Washington Hwy in Ashland VA 23004. Her service will follow at 3 PM. A Graveside Service will be private.
