Patty Loraine Wolfe

Patty Loraine Wolfe, 52, of Montpelier, VA, was called home by the Lord on June 24, 2019. She was born on January 4, 1967 in Richmond, VA, the seventh of eight children. She was predeceased by her mother, Daisy Bell Hawley Wolfe; sister, Sandra G. Kemp; and brother, Herman A. Davis, Jr. She is survived by her father, Jinkens N. Wolfe; beloved partner, Tim Carter; son, Jinkens M. Reed (Jennifer); daughter, Mary E. Reed (John); grandsons, Jacob and John Reed; sisters, Deborah K. Meeks, Gaylynn R. Luck, Loretta L. Johnson, Diane J. Amos, Tammy L. Wolfe; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her faithful, adored pets, Axle, Bear, and Red. To Patty, family was her top priority. She was a fierce mother and grandmother with a strong personality, protective of her family and possessing a strong work ethic. She was employed by L. L. Carter and Son Trucking for the past 12 years. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005 on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 12 p.m., with a celebration of her life following at 1 p.m. Interment will be at the Wolfe family cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
