He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Jane Grady; his brother, Charles (Jean); his sons, Mark, Scott, and Carl; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home in Ashland, VA, on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kenwood United Methodist Church, 11208 Elmont Road, Ashland, VA 23005, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalMSsociety.org.
