Rosalie Ferguson Fulwider

FULWIDER, Rosalie Ferguson, 94, of Richmond, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully with family at her side on May 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Franklin Fulwider. She is survived by daughters, Ramona Fulwider and Rosanne Lowe (Donald); grandchildren, Stephen (Tracy), Jenifer and Amy Lowe; great grandson, Jacob David Lowe, who has given her many everlasting smiles; brother, William Ferguson; sister, Gracie Atkinson; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Fulwider was a direct descendent of Patrick Henry, member of the Scotchtown Chapter DAR and APVA. She was also a member of Byrd Presbyterian Church since age 13. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA. The family will also receive friends at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Byrd Presbyterian Church, 2229 Dogtown Rd., Goochland, VA, where services will be held at 11:00 am. Following interment in the church cemetery, celebration of a life well lived, a potluck lunch will be held in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Byrd Presbyterian Church, PO Box, 655, Goochland, VA 23063. The family would like to thank the Medi Hospice for their special care.
