Ruth Deel Hix

Ruth Deel Hix, 74, of Ruther Glen, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith Deel; 2 sisters, Loretta and Jean and five of her children, Eugene, Karl, Franklin, Carroll, and Alita Hix. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Floyd Hix, Jr.; six children, Renee Cowan (David), Sonya Vitale (Eric), Tonya Donovan (James), Kara Vannoy (Elden), Thomas Hix (Heather), Charlene Stephens (Mark); 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wanda Lizotte (Dave) and Diana Dillard (Lynn); brother, Jimmy Deel (Gayle); brother-in-law, Bill Willis. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 12-2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 20402 Rogers Clark Blvd Ruther Glen, VA 22546 with a memorial service to follow at 2pm.
