Shelia and I worked together at VDOT-Ashland. We shared a love of pepperoni pizza and sci-fi movies. She talked with a passion about her family and her heritage. You could tell that she was proud of both. Shelia had a beautiful heart that was evident in her care of stray cats and her willingness to help others in need. I was proud to call her my friend. I will miss her dearly.
