She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur L. Powers and Grace H. Powers; her former-husband, Solon R. Richardson; and her grandson, Dustin Cole Street.
Shirley attended Radford University and VCU formerly known as VPI. She will be remembered for her fun-loving nature and her love of travelling. Some of her favorite locations were the Grand Cayman Islands, Hawaii, and Bermuda. She is survived by her children, Sharon Street, Bonnie Conway (Mike), Brett Richardson, and Greg Richardson; grandchildren, Joshua Street, Zachary Street, Michael Conway Jr., Christopher Conway, Matthew Conway, Daniel Conway, Logan Richardson, and Noah Richardson.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln., Richmond, VA 23222.
