Monroe “Petie” Johnson, Jr. 59, of Richmond, died Friday, May 9, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father Monroe “Pete” Johnson, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Bernice W. Johnson and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He worked for a number of local Chrysler Dealerships and Ma & Pa’s Diner on Williamsburg Road in Sandston, VA. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Highland Springs and an honorary member of the VFW. Services will be held at St. Stephen's Baptist Church, Central Point, VA on May 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
