Steven Todd Doggett

He was preceded in death by his father, James Doggett Sr.

He was survived by his Mother, Linda Doggett; Grandmother, Bernell Satterwhite; Brother, James Doggett Jr. (Becky); Nieces, Sierra Rodriguez (Dshawn) and Kelsey Doggett; Nephew, Justin Doggett; Great-Niece and Nephew, Logan and Lily Rodriguez.

Steve was always the life of the party. His family always enjoyed the many jokes he would tell.

When Steve was a teenager he decided to dedicate his time to improving his community. He did this by becoming a member of the Doswell/Ashland Volunteer Fire Department. He was so well loved by his fellow firemen on the force that he was extended a lifetime membership. Steve's father was a major influence on his life, and were both long time Washington Redskins fans.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, 11310 Hanover Ave., Ashland, VA 23005.
